19:30 to 23:00
A fundraiser event for the first production of an emerging Irish Film/Theatre Production Company, Atona Productions. All proceeds will go into funding a debut short film, Fairtrade Charlie.
The event is a new concept in live theatre performance. Providing both the audience and the actors with a new way to experience theatre and discover upcoming performers and lesser known texts. Through a series of short monologues or duologues performed by different actors, the audience get to experience a range of material from widely performed and renowned works to new writing which may not have been seen performed before and across a variety of genres. The actors pick their own pieces from works that present them and their talents well, or just from plays that they have an interest in and want to spread to a wider audience.
This event will focus on Irish Actors living and working in London, most of which are recent graduates from the top Drama Schools in the U.K. including Drama Centre London, L.A.M.D.A, Central School of Speech and Drama, Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts and East 15 among others.
Atona will also be doing a live reading of the script for Atona Productions debut short film, Fairtrade Charlie. This will give the audience a chance to hear the script performed and allow them to see what the funds raised on the night will be going towards making a reality.
Ticket Prices: The event is run on a Pay What You Can basis as any funds raised will help to fund our first film.
Recommended Donations are: £7
Any donations over £20 will be recorded and thanked as a patron in the credits of the short film.
