Part of the digging tour de force behind Amsterdam's cult record store Redlight Records, Jamie Tiller has been diving for pearls in the murky waters of the great record unknown already for some time.
A London native who relocated to Amsterdam some years ago, Jamie set up record label Music From Memory along with friends Tako Reyenga and Abel Nagengast of Redlight Records in 2013 to share some of the overlooked and unheard gems that they felt deserved a second chance. With compilations by Leon Lowman, Gigi Masin, Joan Bibiloni and a forthcoming release by Vito Ricci the label is already establishing itself as a label to look out for.
In his own sets, Jamie can be heard mixing up everything from African electronic oddities to Italian pop hits that never were to the kind of 80's Japanese Synth-Pop records that sound like the best new dance music you've never heard.
