Jeffrey Wootton is a guitarist and songwriter from Manchester. He has played lead guitar with Damon Albarn in Gorillaz alongside Mick Jones and Paul Simonon of The Clash, played lead guitar with Damon Albarn on his solo project. and is currently working on his first album.

He has also collaborated with Brian Eno, Massive Attack, Nick Zinner, Noel Gallagher, Liam Gallagher, Damo Suzuki from Can and Unkle. In 2013 Wootton joined Damon Albarn, Brian Eno, Nick Zinner and several other musicians and producers on a trip to Mali, in West Africa to record an album as part of Africa Express

The release of ‘The Eternal’ comes on the back of a prolific creative period for Jeff Wootton, which has seen him collaborate with the likes of Damon Albarn, Gorillaz, Brian Eno and Massive Attack. After deciding to step out on his own earlier this year, he’s honed his live shows with support slots with the likes of Blur and Kasabian and is now ready to preview his debut LP at a very special headline show at Red Gallery, London on 21st October 2015.

The live band 'The Ecstatic Noise' are Seye - Bass Jay Sharrock - Drums Denise Johnson - Backing Vocals Juldeh Camara - Nyanyero The show will also feature special guests.
