Over two weekends during July the much celebrated Red Street Food Market on Rivington Street in Shoreditch will be rocking to the global musical flavors of Straight No Chaser's Paul Bradshaw and a crew of hand-picked DJs including legendary, pioneering global music DJ Dave Hucker who will be happily embarking on a five hour set that will be a journey into one of the hottest global music collections in the capital.

Paul Bradshaw is fresh from curating 2 sold out performances of in the QEH of Enlightenment: A Re-envisioning of ‘A Love Supreme’ on the final day of James Lavelle's Meltdown and the Journey To The One concerts at The House Of St Barnabas. On the opening night - Sunday, July 6th - he'll be sharing the turntables with Brasil-whiz Jody Gillett and the ever-funky and soulful Anna Lovell. In August he'll be digging in the vinyl crates to compliment the Latin beats, carnival rhythms, the tropical bass of Movimientos’ Cal Jader and the Afrobeat excursions and rootical reggae selection of Koichi Sakai.

Paul Bradshaw: Expect a free flowing exploration of Interplanetary Sounds: Ancient to Future from the former editor of Straight No Chaser magazine.

Jody Gillett:  The Brasil Music Exchange broadcaster has a mind-blowing collection of contemporary Brasilian music & promises a selection which crisscrosses continents spiced with a hint of dubstep.

Anna Lovell: Indio resident “DJ Sugarlips” drops a sweet selection of The sixties/Seventies soul and funk mixed with a little doo-wop, jump jive, jazz & Latin boogaloos

SUNDAY 20th July 5-11pm: Dave Hucker

It was in the basement of a Colombian restaurant - the Sol Y Sombra - in Charlotte St. that Dave Hucker pioneered the global meltdown. A London club land legend Dave Hucker’s mouth-watering vinyl collection of global obscurities and classics will get a well-deserved Shoreditch airing.
